Foundational Beginners are not expected to know anything. We will be learning short sentences, and using those short sentences to interact with each other. Some grammar will be explained, but the focus is on beginner spoken fluency and confidence.

Estas reuniones est'an destinadas a personas que puedan mantener una conversación medianamente fluida, agradable y espontánea. Si tienes un nivel intermedio de español, pero crees que puedes participar de estas reuniones manteniendo el ritmo del grupo avanzado, te incentivamos a que te desafíes.

Beginners, aka "Functional Beginners," are expected to be able to construct an introduction for themself (prompts are provided on the Meeting Activity Sheet), already have access to language-learning resources, and be familiar with basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and present tense conjugations. Functional Beginners are also expected to make mistakes!
