Scenario: Your car breaks down and cell phone & GPS service is out. From what you can tell you are about 10 miles from home. Storms approaching but you don’t know how bad it is going to be.... can you make it back home through the storm possibly in the wilderness?

Come check out this 4-part simple Survival series hosted by John Whitlock at Croft State Park. The first 3 sessions will be planning and skill courses including how to pack a "go" bag, how to use a compass, survival techniques and other basic knowledge plus Q&A.

John will post the exact meeting location, but either at Picnic Pavilion #2 to the left of the ranger station as you are driving to Lake Craig OR down at the picnic tables next to the lake.

No need to attend all of the sessions in order, come if you are interested in the topic.

It is a $3 fee to get into Croft paid at the ranger booth.
