Are you ready for a full day and evening of board games? Need a change of pace after your Christmas dinner with family and looking for a cozy atmosphere filled with gaming excitement? Then come to the Board Game Marathon in Dieren on Saturday, December 28, from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM the next day!
Everyone is welcome—whether you're a seasoned gamer or brand new to the world of board games. Participation is free, and there's no need to register in advance. Just drop by and join a game! Don’t have 12 hours to spare? No problem! The board game marathon has an open-door policy, so you’re free to come and go as you please.
You’re also welcome to bring your own favorite board games to share with others, or explore the large collection of games available on-site, offering something for every taste. While most participants are Dutch, the event is English-friendly, making it a perfect opportunity to meet new people and play games regardless of language barriers.
Event Details:
- Location: Grand Café Theothorne (Callunaplein 77, Dieren)
- When: Saturday, December 28, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Parking: Free and spacious
- Public transport: A 10-minute walk from Dieren train station
Dinner Option:
At around 6:00 PM, there will be a buffet featuring hearty soup and bread (including vegan options). If you'd like to join the meal, registration is required. The cost is just €5. Visit the Board Game Club Dieren website (in Dutch) for more details and to sign up for the meal.
