Now you're wondering what is Lindy Hop...?

Lindy Hop is a African-American dance that originated in Harlem, New York City in the late 1920s and hit the height of its popularity in the 1930s and ‘40s as part of mainstream American culture. The social dance developed from a combination of earlier dances like Tap, Charleston, and Breakaway, and evolved alongside the popular music of the time, jazz.

You can youtube what the dance looks like, but I figured I'll pick out a less intimidating idea of it is for new people :)

\*\*Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the lesson starts so you can get yourself checked in.
\*\*Lesson starts at 6:30 and the social dance is right after starting at 7:30
\*\*Use the main doors

\*\*You do not need a dedicated partner, we will rotate leads and follows throughout the lesson to make sure everyone gets experience dancing with different people.
