Thanksgiving Camping
Details
Come for a post-Thanksgiving camping trip. I’m in site B11: it’s $30 per night ($37 for the electric hookup sites), plus a booking fee. I have a small tent, so can likely fit another tent or 2 at my site. Friends, family, and friendly dogs welcome to come. I understand the weather doesn’t always cooperate this time of year, so if you don’t want to camp, feel free to come out for the day for a campfire, local shopping (Anacortes, La Conner, and Mount Vernon all have cute historic downtown), hike and/or a meal. Reservations can be made at: https://anacortesparksandrecreation.sportsites.com/player
Id like to go hiking during the day, depending on if the weather isn’t completely terrible (Washington Park has a lot of trails itself, and I’d like to do check out the Kukutali Preserve trail (in La Conner) and the Little Cranberry Lake trail, but am open to doing any hike or walk).
I’ve been wanting to try Gere-A-Deli and Compass Wines (in Anacortes) or The Fork at Skagit Bay and Hellams Vineyard (in La Conner), if anyone is interested in eating out. Bob’s Chowder Bar and Village Pizza both also have good food. I’m also flexible with going anywhere for food, if others have suggestions.
