What we’re about
We are a group of lady readers from the south of Raleigh, so Fuquay Varina, Holly Spring, Willow Spring, Garner, Angier, Benson, even Apex, or South Cary who get together on the Fuquay/holly springs border at Mi Cancun in Holly Springs (by movie theater, outside if possible), near Fuquay-Varina, Cary, Apex, to discuss books and each other's lives. We can discuss what types of books we want to read. We won't be discussing politics and religion. I hope we form long lasting friendships. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30 pm... I am in my fifties now (fifty one now) but really no age limits 20s 30s 40s 50s 60s even young at heart 70s... , I just ask that everyone has an open mind and be non judgemental for the couple hours we are together. We will meet once a month. 2nd Tue of every month. We read a different genre at each meeting... maybe we will evolve. Who knows? Anything goes. Meetup fee $2. Covers Meetup dues I pay. Please buy something but they have as small as a margarita, appetizer, dessert but many of us get dinner... Find a menu on their website
