Inaugural Session: The First St Albans Silent Book Club!

Date: Sunday 29th September 2024
Time: 2pm to 4pm
Venue: St Albans Museum + Gallery Courtroom Cafe (pick up a drink from the cafe on the way in to support the local business)
Since this is our first event, I have decided to use this venue as I know it is fairly spacious and flexible. In the future we may rotate to other places such as bookshops or the public library!

Bring ANY book/e-book/audiobook of your choice - there is NO assigned reading and no deadlines!
Come join like-minded readers in a public space and feel motivated to start, continue or finish that read!
At the start and at the end of the session we spend a few minutes sharing with one another about our book, but even then, there is absolutely no pressure or obligation to do so. You may even find some helpful recommendations of a genre you had never previously considered.
Above all, this is a free, low-key, low-commitment book club so please drop in whenever you can!
