Session 6 in 2025: St Albans Silent Book Club!

Start the year right by cultivating or revisiting that reading habit!
It's our 6-month-anniversary! And we are starting much earlier than usual, as we are celebrating my 1-year anniversary as Meetup organizer straight after (lunch details to follow separately)!

We will also be doing a BOOK SWAP so if you are interested in participating, bring along any book (even pre-loved) that you would like to share with another enthusiastic reader. Drop it in the mystery book bag at the front of the room, and halfway during our reading, we will invite everyone who brought a book to pick out a book new to them. We will figure out some 'rules' on the day if it gets complicated!

There is a maximum capacity of 17 people so if you are unable to come along, please update your RSVP to enable more people on the waitlist to attend. Thank you!

Date: Sunday 16th March 2025
Time: 10.00am to 12.00pm (please aim to be punctual so we can make the most of our reading time together - the venue is booked following our session)
Venue: The Box Cinema at The Hub on Verulam - the staff have confirmed that it is best that you order and pay for your drinks and snacks using the QR code located next to your seat in the screening room and the staff will deliver to you directly :)

This meetup is free to join, and we have been kindly given the space to use for free of charge, but we will need to purchase at least one drink to support them.
On arrival, head directly to the venue, or if it's your first time attending and you don't spot any of us, please go to the reception / bar and ask for 'The Box' or 'Silent Book Club' located upstairs :)
Bring any book/e-book/audiobook of your choice - there is no assigned reading and no deadlines!
Come join like-minded readers in a public space and feel motivated to start, continue or finish that read! Above all, this is a free, low-key, low-commitment book club so please drop in whenever you can!
