Qigong (All Levels)

Details

This free 30-minute Zoom Qigong class is for all levels, including those who have never done Qigong before. Qigong (pronounced "Chee Gong") is an ancient Chinese system of cultivating and harmonizing the body, mind, and spirit for optimal functioning, longevity, and stress relief. It uses gentle movements that open and strengthen the body, along with breath practices that improve general health and calm the mind.

Your instructor: Gingy Norton has been teaching Qigong and Tai Chi for eight years. She has studied Tai Chi and Qigong since 2011, and she received instructor certification through the Integral Institute of Qigong and Tai Chi in 2016 from Dr. Roger Jahnke. She currently studies under Dr. Liu Dong and Master Liu He of the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School who teach Qigong that has been handed down for generations in their family lineage. She has also studied under Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, Lee Holden, and Sifu Fajun Shakya.

This event includes both meetup and non-meetup participants. There are usually a dozen students at each class.
