What we’re about
This group is for experienced and novice writers alike in the Stamford and surrounding areas. We will meet weekly in person to discuss our projects, provide feedback, share resources and ideas and have fun! We will begin each session with a quick prompt to get the creative juices flowing and then transition working on our independent projects, after which we will open the floor for sharing, critiques and discussion. Whether you write fiction, poetry, short stories, or are working on a novel, this group is for you!

Happy Holidays Everyone change of plans:
I belive i was a little ambitious with a day after thanksgiving event (my bad!). I have rescheduled to Sunday 12/1. I know this is a busy time for everyone which is why it's extra important to take time for ourselves and hold ourselves accountable for our writing goals.
We will meet IN PERSON at Third Place in Stamford and will begin by warming up with a discussion of John Updike's A&P. Don't worry if you haven't read it, it's an informal discussion and just a way to think deeper about voice in writing.
We will also spend a little bit of time on a prompt as well as another fun game/writing activity.
Lastly, we will leave some time at the end for anyone who would like to share what they are currently working on. No pressure, sharing is always optional!
