What we’re about
This group is for people interested in SUP and/or kayaking the beautiful bays, springs, canals and gulf waters of this wonderful place we all get to call home. Whether you are interested in getting into the sport or are an expert, this group is for all skill levels.
Typically events will be bring your own board (BYOB) or watercraft. There are places in the area that rent paddleboards and kayaks. Some event sites may have them for rent close-by, and some rental places will deliver with enough notice. I will try and provide rental information and post links to them on the event description when possible, however it is the responsibility of each member to secure their own watercraft in order to participate.
Most events will occur within the vicinity of Navarre - Pensacola, therefore I invite members that live outside of this area to volunteer as an Event Organizer to help organize/plan events closer to your area. Please let me know if you are interested, so we can appeal to the wider audience. It's super easy to schedule and plan an event and I am happy to share my experience. I always appreciate everyone's input and please continue to provide ideas for places you would like to see on the schedule.
In addition, we will schedule some social events outside of paddling. Thanks for joining and looking forward to bringing others together for some fun and fitness.
