Details
Chris Holland returns to investigate the fascinating origins of winter holiday traditions, tracing their roots to ancient rituals, seasonal changes, and cultural exchanges.
His talk will examine unusual holiday customs from around the globe and explore a colorful bestiary of Holiday creatures and characters. From Krampus to Belsnickel, feculent logs to mysterious pickles, it serves to illustrate how holidays reflect cultural values and adapt over time, blending the sacred and the whimsical.
