Looking ahead to later in the year, join us to enjoy the colours of autumn, at the time of year when we mark national remembrance. The National Memorial Arboretum was established to ensure that those who served and sacrificed, military and civilian, are never forgotten.

There are approximately 400 memorials on the 150 acre site which are dedicated to the Armed Services, the Emergency Services, Merchant Navy, Miners, RNLI and the COVID-19 Pandemic, and numerous other organisations and professions. There are several walking routes that take in memorials and the woodland landscape.

An Act of Remembrance is observed daily at the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness at 11am.

**Tickets**
Entry to the Arboretum itself is free, although any donations are gratefully received.
It is recommended to book tickets in advance to guarantee entry and save on parking charges, which are £4 per vehicle purchased in advance online, or £6 per vehicle if you pay on the day.

**By Car**
The Arboretum is located just off the A38 / A513 between Lichfield and Burton upon Trent. Look out for the local brown signs. Allow one and a half hours for the drive from Sheffield.

**By Train**
Lichfield Trent Valley is the closest railway station and is five miles away. Lichfield City, although further away, is located close to the bus station and provides better public transport links.

Taxis are available from either train station to the Arboretum

**What to Wear**
The venue is outdoors, so please wear warm clothing and a waterproof. The walk is mostly on paths, however, please wear suitable footwear, that can cope with wet and slippery conditions.
