Welcome to SCU North’s Meetup
Meetups are held in Room 104 at the St. Athanasius Community Center located at 7 Chalfont Avenue, 15229. Parking is plentiful and free. All levels of play are welcome.

Plan to arrive at 6:30 to set up. We’ll start playing at 6:45 and end by 8:30pm. Bring your music, ukulele, and expectation to have a good time-and we always have a good time 😊 cost is $3.00 per person.

Steel City Ukuleles is a long standing music club in the Pittsburgh area. The group meets at several different locations each week. We have now expanded to north of Pittsburgh.

Steel City Ukuleles at the Butler Airport presents a fun and exciting music making jam in the first floor conference room hosted by Ed S and Tall Paul. This is held on the first and third Thursday each month.

Beginners to novices to intermediates and beyond are welcome. It doesn’t matter if you know how to play a C chord or not, everyone can join in as we play and sing. As a convenience we will project the song sheets onto a screen. You can also download the PDF file to your tablet, laptop, phone or just print out the songs.

Come at 6:45 to chat, tune up and set up. Bring your favorite ukulele, music, song sheets, a music stand (tabletop) and a smile. A $3 donation is appreciated.

We need a minimum of ten to ??? players.. the more the merrier, beginners are welcome. This is a fun gig..No worries, no pay,

Bring a music stand (you can share!!), your music and your kazoos. Set up at 5:30 to 5:45. Kathy will be there at 5;00
We start to play at 6 pm. We will Play through the set list twice, or until we run out of time.
If you have an SCU shirt, please wear it.
Santa hats are welcome. Bells are welcome, too!!

We will be playing in a wonderful location near Nordstrom, between Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton!

You will be notified about the best place to park and the best entrance.
A table will be set up in the service hallway where we enter the mall for coats, bags, uke cases, etc. Leave all valuables in your car. No items are permitted around or near the performance area. NOTHING is permitted on the floor except your music stand.

Please RSVP ASAP So we can give Ruckus a head count. Thank you!
All are welcome, new and old, guests and instruments, especially ukuleles.

RUCKUS will be catering… $10 covers everything: rental, food, drinks, dessert, a big cake.
Payable to Sunny or Kathy by December 12th. (Little Kids half off. UNDER 5 FREE.)

YOU will be the decorations! Whatever your holiday, wear your holiday (ugly, naughty or nice??) sweater, your Santa hat, your Chaunukah lights, a big smile., or all of the above.

We will gather at 3:30 for food and drinks.

NO GIFTS this year, but we will have a table for misfit musical toys (or anything you think someone might use related to music you would like to give away. (Books, etc.) but you’ll have to take it home with you if no one takes your item.

We will have multiple leaders for jamming Holiday Songs. Everyone please plan to play and singalong or just be merry. You CAN add another song if you like.
