December Walk, Fargo Parks Sports Center

GROUP NEWS:

After touring the facility and trying out the walking track at the Fargo Parks Sports Center for the November Walk, the group found its indoor site for the rest of the winter:)

Also, several members have suggested increasing our socializing time after each event by meeting for coffee or tea. So, our walks will now be followed by meeting together at the Starbucks at 3771 53rd Ave. S., Fargo, at 5:30pm. Please feel free to join us for all or part of our events.

PLANS FOR THE DECEMBER WALK:

Let's gather just inside the front doors of the Sports Center at 4:00pm on Sunday, December 1st. After welcoming newcomers and catching up with each other, we'll head upstairs to the walking track, do some stretches, and then we'll be off! This part of the event will last 1 - 1.25 hours, then we'll meet again at Starbucks.

Newcomers are always welcome! See you on December 1st:)

***As always, please wear a good pair of tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.***

***Note the change in start time from our outdoor walks. With the Sports Center's closing time being 6:00pm, our meeting time has been changed to 4:00pm for the winter.***
