Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - 25 miles - 12 hrs

Join us on the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.

The challenge is a 25 mile hike in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, climbing -

1. Pen-y-gent = 2217 ft
2. Wearnside = 2415 ft
3. Ingleborough = 2372 ft

All to be done in 12 hours.

This will be the first of several challenge hikes being put on by 'Steven Massey Hiking Tours' in 2025.

Please only attempt this challenge if you are an experienced hiker with a good level of fitness.

We will have two breaks on the hike.
The first will be at Ribblehrad Viaduct, a great spot. Nice pub/picnic area with lots of opportunities to take pics of the viaduct, one of the highlights of the walk.
The second break will be between the 2nd and 3rd peaks, here we can top up energy levels before our tired legs take on Ingleborough!

Please bring waterproofs and plenty of layers. 4 seasons in a day is not uncommon on this hike.
Also bring plenty of water and food to sustain you, we won't be passing any shops on this hike.

Accommodation ---

It's up to you to arrange your own accommodation. Bear in mind the walks starts Saturday morning at 6am......
There is dorm accommodation right behind the pub and plenty of campsites, hotel room, B&Bs etc within a few miles.
