Join me in the Algarve region of southern Portugal for a long weekend break and a visit to the christmas markets on Sunday 1st December.

It has not been officially announced yet, but we are expecting the Sunday to be the first day for the christmas markets. Information on the area says the christmas markets are Sat/Sun throughout December.

We got a fantastic deal flying with jet2 from Glasgow to Faro City from 28th November LS173 at 0630 arriving 0945.
Return Sunday 1st December LS174 at 1850 arriving at 2215.

We have paid approx £340 per person for a double/twin room with £22 for return transfers from the airport. We paid £60 per person deposit and paying £60 per month over the next five months - balance to be paid by mid September 2024 making it easier to pay over the year.

Tui and Thomas Cook also fly to faro city and easy jet had options too so lots of choice and prices seem reasonable. Jet2 had a single room only offer starting at £387.
