Deaf Creative Expression Workshop - PART ONE

Unleash your inner creativity and explore acting, poetry & improv in ASL! We invite you to create your performance art, poetry, dance, art, or other mediums, and refine them at a second session, a creative lab held on November 23rd. (Please register separately). This is a safe space for all D/deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people. No experience required! Adults only.
About your instructor:
Sabina England is a poet performer, playwright, published author and filmmaker. She is fully deaf. She has studied at filmmaking London Film Academy. She has a B.A. in Playwriting from the University of Missouri . Her plays have been produced in London, UK at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Soho Theatre, Tristan Bates Theatre and East 15 Acting School.
Sabina helps curates and organizes REEL Poetry Festival (Houston, Texas) and promotes deaf poets and sign language poetry every year.
