Wigan Circuit 9 miles

Stockport walking and outdoor group known as SWOG is an independent group and many of its members are not on meet up and just come on the day. Circuit around Wigan starting off from Top Lock 65. The walk is mainly on canal and old rail paths. Currently the area is very good for those interested in bird life

Make sure you wear walking boots/shoes, water proof clothing and packed lunch and a drink

Meet to share lifts at 9.15am to leave at 9.30am at Piccadilly, Stockport SK1 3RU (outside Stopford House Council Building).
For thos going straight to the start meet at 10.15am for a 10.30 start at Top Lock 65, Hindley Lane, Hindley, Withington, WN2 1 JR
