Portrait Drawing Workshop

Please note the new time of 11:30 AM instead of 12:30. I thought this might give everyone (including the model) a chance to eat lunch.

In this workshop, I will be teaching participants the basics of expressive portraiture:
-proportions
-anatomy
-shading techniques
-facial features
This will be a recurring workshop happening every Saturday. Students may sign up for one at a time or for as many as they like. People pay on this site, one class at a time.
We will work with charcoal on toned paper. Supply list:
-Vine charcoal sticks
-Compressed charcoal pencils
-Kneaded eraser
-Toned paper (gray or tan)
Students without supplies may use some of mine for a small fee (about 5$)
We will work from a variety of live models (TBA).
More experienced students may work in chalk pastel.
