One-on-One Beginner's Photography Class

Welcome to your one-on-one beginner's photography class! In this class, you will learn the basics of photography, including how to use your camera, compose a shot, and adjust your settings for different lighting conditions.

We'll start by going over the different types of cameras and their features, so you can understand how to use your camera to its full potential. We'll cover the different shooting modes, such as automatic, manual, aperture priority, shutter priority and semi-automatic, and when to use each one.

Next, we'll move on to composition. We'll discuss the rule of thirds, leading lines, and other composition techniques that will help you create visually interesting and appealing photos.

After composition, we'll delve into exposure. We'll talk about ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, and how these settings affect your photos. You'll learn how to adjust these settings to create the desired effect, such as a shallow depth of field or a fast shutter speed to freeze motion.

We'll also cover lighting, including natural light and artificial light sources. You'll learn how to adjust your camera settings to work with different lighting conditions and how to use light to enhance your photos.

Throughout the class, we'll practice taking photos and reviewing them to see what worked and what could be improved. You'll receive personalized feedback and guidance to help you improve your skills and achieve your goals.

This is a two hours course. Presentation will be provided, hands-on training and by the end of the class, you'll have a solid understanding of the basics of photography and be ready to continue exploring this exciting hobby on your own. The presentation will be emailed to you in PDF format at the end of the session.

What you'll need to bring:

• Your Camera (not necessary if you don’t have one).
• Pen and Paper to take notes.
