Welcome to Suburban Cyclists Unlimited! We are a non-profit community of recreational cyclists riding at various paces as we tour the roads and trails of our surrounding counties in Southeastern Pa, predominantly in Montgomery and Bucks. Weekday and weekend rides are available as well as social and bike events throughout the year.

You can join this Meetup to get notifications of upcoming rides. It is open to members and prospective members. As a Meetup member you are welcome to try some of our many rides as a guest. Hike Leisurely Pace on Easy Trails, ~5-6 on foot miles. Meet at Fox Chase Lorimer Trailhead, Rhawn St and Elberon Ave. The hike leaves at 9:30 am. For Fridays in November: Plan B Hike/Walk, since Leader has a wrist injury. Walk/hike on Lorimer/Pennypack Trails. Meet at trailhead on Rhawn St, across from the end of the Fox Chase Rail Station.
GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route. Cue sheets and on-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Friday, November 15, 2024 at 9:30 am.

Join us to celebrate JM's 80th Birthday. The 13-14, 14-15 and 16-17 mph paces will follow the 80 kilometer route (49 miles) whereas the 12-13 mph pace will take the shorter 44.6 mile path. Both routes will break at Henning's Supermarket/Cafe in Harleysville.

Join Katie for a 13 mph Moderately Hilly ride from Lions Pride Park (Warrington Township) to the Ferry Market in New Hope (mile 22). This 42.1 mile moderately hilly route averages 55 feet per mile of climbing. Optional Restroom breaks at mile 6.4 (Wawa-Water Available) and mile 36 (Guinea Lane Park-Port-a-loo)
STRONGLY recommend that you carry TWO water bottles and some snacks for the breaks.
