Sunday Morning Soccer

Weekly soccer games for all levels. Bring a white and a dark shirt. We play full field or close to full field, on the artificial turf at Clements High School.

If you are unable to attend, please change your RSVP by 9 PM the night before. If there are fewer than 6 RSVPs by 9 PM, then we’ll cancel. If you do not show or if you change your RSVP after 9 pm habitually, you will be removed from the group. Your RSVP is important as people make plans based on it, and we want to be considerate to all of our members.

These are the rules for playing with this group:

-Last player to arrive for whichever team starts as a keeper first. It's not fair for others who arrive on time to have to play keeper.
-Help set-up and pick up after the game.
-No overly aggressive play - this is pickup, not league play.
-No slide tackles - leaving your feet to get the ball from someone counts as a slide, intentional or unintentional.
-Respect the agreed upon out of bounds - if the ball is kicked out by one team it changes possession.
-Hand balls are called if your arm is away from your body, and it becomes a free kick.
-Keep the game going - no arguing. If the players involved can’t agree on the foul, the present organizers will have final say.
-Forwards may not hang back and cherry pick. It’s up up to present organizers to call cherry-picking.
-Shag your shots- balls can get lost if they are not gotten.
-Communication is good, over coaching and mean comments can take the joy out of the game. This is pickup and meant for fun! :)
-Respect the spirit if the game. All levels are welcome.

If you are unable to abide by those rules, you will receive a warning from an organizer. If the issue persists regularly, you will be removed from the group. We need set guidelines for this group, to maintain the spirit of the game.
