Hello, I am Mika, Sumi-e ink painting artist.
I depict inner world landscape inspired by nature with instinctive rhythmical lines and patterns using techniques of abstract calligraphy, Kana calligraphy, and various sumie techniques. Animals, long worshipped in Japan as divine messengers, appear in these monochrome landscapes.
