MOTIVATED: Lone Tree and Geronimo Cave via Peralta Trail

This is a heavily trafficked out and back trail near Gold Canyon in the Superstition Mountains that offers spectacular scenic views. When we get to the Fremont Saddle, we will strike out for some solitude on a side trail to the Lone Tree then on to Geronimo Cave.

Driving directions: Take your favorite route to access US-202 E loop. Follow to and exit onto US-60 E. Continue on US 60 past Gold Canyon to E Peralta Rd. Follow Peralta Rd to the end of the dirt road. Please note that Peralta Rd can be very rough, especially after a rain when the dips in the road may be partially flooded.
