MELLOW: Pass Mountain Trail to Cat Peaks Loop

Pass Mountain Trail to Cat Peaks Loop is a 4.3-mile hike with an elevation gain of 344 feet in Usery Mountain Park. It is an easy trail to two small peaks resembling a cat's ears and provides good views of the mountain and valley.
The roundtrip drive is 66 miles, all on paved roads, and the driver's fee is $6.
The hike starts at the Meridian Road trailhead and crosses a large wash before proceeding to a short connector around the two peaks with a saddle in between. The trail is rocky in parts and sandy in other parts so hiking poles are recommended.
