Gimme Some Orange Blazes - 2.5 BONUS CAMPING

This is a BONUS CAMPING event inserted into our series, to hike all the Florida National Scenic Trail (FNST) that runs through our Florida Trail Association's (FTA) - Suncoast Chapter.
FNST is blazed orange for 1500 miles from Big Cypress to Pensacola.
Our dedicated Section Leaders maintain the FNST from this trailhead north to Withlacoochee River bridge in Dunnellen.

This camping opportunity has multiple opportunities.
1. It will allow hikers to camp overnight between the two "Gimme Some Orange Blazes" hikes #2 & 3 which are on Saturday & Sunday. Yes, we can have our cars here, we do not backpack in.
The campsite is reserved for Saturday, Dec. 7.
2. Anyone rsvp to this meetup can camp, whether or not you hike.
3. Saturday afternoon we will have short easy trail maintenance in this area. If not hiking on Sunday, you are welcome to maintain on Sunday as well.
The gate code will be provided closer to the date of event.

What to wear/bring:
comfortable shoes that may get wet
appropriate clothing for the days weather.
sun hat & sunglasses
bug spray
lunch & snacks
2 liters of water
Tent, sleeping bag - any camping supplies you need.
Food for your own meals.
Chair for around the campfire.
loppers, gloves & eye protection, if you wish to help with maintenance.

This campsite is a group site. It is not suitable for RVs & trailers.
Tents, hammocks, and sleep in your car are acceptable.
The tent area is just behind the fence from parking.
There are nice flush toilets & has potable water at sinks. No showers.

All participants are required to sign an "Assumption of Risk" form.
