Please be aware of my hiking philosophy. I hike the trail in the condition that it is at the time of the hike. If the trail is dry my feet stay dry. If the trail is wet and/or covered in water, my feet and maybe my pants get wet. Please be willing to make the commitment to completing this hike before you RSVP. Hope to see you on the trail!

9:00 a.m. is the start walking time for this hike. There is no day use fee. No restrooms or potable water available at trailhead. Restrooms and potable water are available nearby (1.5 miles) at the Pasco County Withlacoochee River Park.

We will meet at the River Road trailhead kiosk before 8:30 a.m. We will head out on the connector trail (white blaze) to the FNST. We will turn southbound onto the FNST (orange blaze) and continue to the North trail (white blaze) and follow it to the BWC cabin. From the BWC cabin we will back track to our start point.

Make sure to:
wear proper hiking footwear and clothing.
adequate quantity of water. 2 quarts or 2 liters highly recommended
bug spray/sunscreen
food/snacks
