The Sunday Alternative, now in it's 10th year, is an inclusive secular community that meets regularly to celebrate life with great music, ideas and community outreach.
The Sunday Alternative is an excellent way to meet new people and form deep lasting friendships.

Rock Yule is the secular answer to a traditional Carol concert. Sing all the best festive songs with our in-house karaoke band and indulge in silly activities with our Festive Game Gurus.
Bring your friends and family to The Rising Sun Arts Centre this December and fill up with festive spirit with us. Everyone’s welcome!
The best way to meet new people is to come early. Doors open at 16:30 with the Assembly at 17:00. There will be the usual teas and coffees, but we invite you to BYO alcohol.
We will dress up in our party gear and hope you will too.
The assembly ends around 18:30 but the evening doesn't have to end there …
About The Sunday Alternative
If you're looking for a good time, look no further than The Sunday Alternative! We're a bunch of secular legends who meet monthly in Reading to celebrate life.
We're about Living Better, Helping Often, and Wondering More, and we do it for one reason only - to make the most of this one life we've got. We're a diverse bunch, so you're bound to meet some cracking new mates.
Our assemblies are chock-a-block with singing, games, engaging chats, and cake scoffing. Plus, they're inclusive—we welcome anyone, regardless of age or background.
The Sunday Alternative is free to attend and runs entirely on donations.
