What we’re about

Welcome coffee, tea, and conversation lovers!

Dominic likes to visit a cafe or coffeehouse in Greenville most every morning. Usually by himself and sometimes with Maggie. Coffee is between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Dom likes to try out a variety of coffee shops. Dom -- sometimes with Maggie -- especially enjoys a morning drink (coffee, tea, latte, espresso, cappuccino, etc.) mixed with conversation with new friends and old.

You should join Dom (and sometimes Maggie) if you love sharing a morning drink and good conversation with others.

The purpose of this meetup is to sample the best cafes and coffeehouses in Greenville to savor a morning drink and socializing with others.

How good is the selection of coffee and coffee shops in Greenville? Fodor's Travel listed Greenville on its list of the best American cities for coffee. Our coffee houses like Methodical Coffee, Due South Coffee Roasters, Coffee Underground, The Village Grind, and Grateful Brew all got special shout outs on the list.

While breakfast or brunch foods will sometimes be offered by the cafe or coffeehouse we meet at, this will not always be the case. Sometimes the cafe or coffeehouse will offer such food. Sometimes not.

I would like to invite you to consider joining one or more of my other meetup groups if they interest you.

I charge an annual fee of $4 to be a member of this meetup. This is a modest fee – a little less than the cost of a cup of coffee. The fee is in place because owning a meetup is rather expensive. I pay over $200 each year to meetup.com.

I have heard that the pay method meetup.com uses (Stripe) is either difficult to use or is defective. If you are unable to pay your dues using Stripe, you have three options: (1) Pay me $4 when you see me at a future meetup; (2) Venmo the $ to me: @Dom-Nozzi; or (3) Paypal the $ to me: [email protected]
Once you pay, you will be shown as being paid up for your annual dues on the meetup page. Thank you in advance for understanding my need to charge a modest annual fee.
