Take a HIKE with MIKE at the BEACH!

ABOUT THE HIKE: This hike has something for everybody!
We will meet in the North/West corner of the Strand Beach parking lot (parking is free) by the rest rooms at 9:00am every Saturday rain or shine. Our walk will start by heading south along the bluff top walk to the switchback trail and down to the elevated Strands Beach boardwalk. We go the length of the boardwalk (or sand) and proceed towards Salt Creek Beach. We take a quick bathroom break & group photo near the snack shop then continue along the park bluff (great views), through the Monarch Links golf course, Sea Terrace Park, rose garden, then back down the hill and make our way back to the to the parking lot where we met. This advanced beginner stroll will be about 4 miles with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain/loss and a mix of trails, walkways and sandy beaches.

Afterwards, join Mike and the group for a Cup of Joe at Peet's Coffee in Ocean Ranch or a sandwich at Board & Brew where you will enjoy fun and uplifting conversation while meeting new friends.
