Let's hike a loop trail that is steep enough to provide a good workout and scenic enough to reward your efforts.
We will go up to Coyote Peak that looks out over the southern expanse of Silicon Valley, with great views of both the Diablo Range to the east and the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west.
Trail's summary:
- Length: 3.8mi
- Elevation gain: 705 ft.
- Just a few shaded parts, mostly open space,
- Dogs are allowed on leash.
Please, bring:
* layered cloths,
* shoes appropriate for a unpaved trail (trail's quite rocky in the middle),
* hat,
* water,
*sunscreen,
* sunglasses.

We will meet at a parking lot AT the large Pavilion with sign Pueblo Day Use Area.
It's the only large construction in the whole Park.
Parking fee $6 is to pay with a machine, please allow time for that.

ATTN: This trail is a combination of a few trails, with some intersections, so if you think you may want to separate from the group/slow down at some point, make sure you get the parks's map and get known (from the leader) how to proceed on your own, otherwise a wrong turn can lead to a different part of this large park.
