Supreme Bodhi Meditation
Details
Meditation for Supreme Bodhi is very specific to a skillfully quiet mind; Supreme Bodhi is the imperturbable mind. It is not mindfulness, although it is similar.
The skill of imperturbable mind is the ability to have or abandon any emotion or feelings that YOU choose. You will be learning this skill.
You WILL be watching your thoughts, NOT your breath, so it will be important that you practice as directed.
Meditation cushion(s) provided, as we will sit on the floor, or if you can not sit on the floor, there will be chairs provided that you can use.
Bring a notebook, so you can take notes for your review afterward. I will provide handouts that explain the practice and also quote the Buddha's instructions.
The location has changed. It is now at the Supreme Bodhi Zendo in University Place.
3131 Glendale Dr. West
University Place, Wa.
I am an Ordained Zen Buddhist Priest and have taught Supreme Bodhi Meditation formally since 2017, and have practiced meditation since 2007.

This class is free and ongoing. Future classes will demonstrate how Supreme Bodhi can be useful in a variety of conditions.
