Pirbright Circular (7.0 miles)

A varied ramble across Pirbright Green, over open farmland, quiet lanes and shady footpaths to the Basingstoke Canal, then to Sheets Heath, an area of Special Scientific Interest because of ground nesting birds: woodlarks, night warbler and nightjars. Return to Pirbright via the Brookwood Cemetery and the Brookwood Military Cemetery.

This walk is also advertised on the Surrey Heath Ramblers web site (www.surreyheathramblers.org.uk) so there will be more walkers attending than is shown on Meetup. Typically we walk with between 15 and 25 people.
Our walks start promptly and it is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to get booted ready for the walk.
If you are unable to attend please remove yourself from the event and text the walk leader so that they are aware that you won't be attending.
As a non member of Ramblers you can attend 3 walks to try us out, after that you are required to join the Ramblers to continue walking with us.
