Boyette Trail Workday

Saturday Trail workday. Arrive any time after 7:30 am and before 8am (new Beat the Heat start time)

Anyone can work on the trails, including the general public!

Boyette Trail Work days are usually scheduled for 8:00 am on the second Saturday of most months. Trail work may include:

  • Cleaning up fallen debris

  • Trimming back overgrowth

  • Repairing drops, climbs and other damaged trail sections

  • Building bridges (very rare)

  • Adding New Trails (rare)

Helpful things to bring on a trail workday:

  • Gloves to protect your hands from tools

  • Water to keep yourself hydrated

  • Bug Spray during warmer months

  • Favorite Trimming Tools (http://www.swampclub.org/trail-building-tools/) if you have them, SWAMP tools may also be available to borrow (see SWAMP trail building tools page (http://www.swampclub.org/trail-building-tools/) for tool ideas)

Workdays usually last 3 to 4 hours, lunch sometimes provided after.
