3rd Annual Getaway (Day 1): Winter Garden - A Christmas Wonderland

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU SIGN UP !!

This getaway is supposed to be a social event and involves an overnight stay in Winter Garden. However, if you do not want to spend the night in a hotel, you can still sign up for each or any of the two days individually.

If you want to do both days, please sign up on both so that we know whom to expect.

Day 1: Night out in Winter Garden - a Christmas Wonderland

We highly recommend staying overnight (Wednesday, December 11th to Thursday, December 12th) to be able to enjoy an evening in wonderful Winter Garden. The town's center is lined with outdoor restaurants, cafes and a picturesque beer garden at Crooked Can Brewing Company. The town will be decorated for the Christmas season.

We negotiated a group discount of 7% at the Historic Edgewater Hotel. Breakfast will be included in your room rate. Rooms are on hold until June 1st and will be released to the public thereafter.

Some of the rooms accommodate up to 4 people and have separate bedrooms with 1 shared bathroom. Please indicate in the comment section if you are willing to share, so that others can get in touch with you.
Final payment will be taken at check-in.
You can store your bikes in your room if you prefer, we will leave them locked on the bike rack. Only 10 people will fit along the large breakfast table, so please pick your breakfast time at check-in. Remember to remove your car from the hotel parking lot after check out!

WHEN AND WHERE DO WE MEET?

04:00 PM: Let's meet at the Winter Garden Fountain in the Median (just across the Edgewater Hotel.

We will then stroll along Plant Street and soak in all the beautiful Christmas decoration around us. After a fairly short walk, we will stop at Crooked Can Brewing Company with their picturesque beer garden. Sunset will be at 05:31 PM. After sunset, the town will be even more enjoyable when all the decoration is lit up. Dinner will be on the roof top terrace of the casual Mexican restaurant "The Whole Enchilada" unless it is too cold. Maybe we will continue our conversations quietly back at the hotel with a complementary sweet treat? Who knows...Don't worry, we will definitely get a good workout on Day 2 starting at 09:00 AM!!
