Casual hike: Edward W. Chance Reserve - Coker Prairie Tract (about 7 miles)

Join us for a casual hike through the Edward W. Chance Reserve - Coker Prairie Tract. This time we will go for a shorter hike.

This property contains relatively unaltered natural land. The dominant natural communities are pine flatwoods, scrubby flatwoods, scrub, freshwater marsh and hardwood hammocks.

We will hit the Coker Prairie Tract for a total of about 7 miles. The trail consists of grassy, compact and a few sandy spots. We might take a couple of breaks along the way, means the hike will last about 3 hours.

Please bring sufficient water, a snack if you like and wear some sunscreen.
