What we’re about
Lots of local ladies are here looking after their elderly moms. I decided to start a Meetup to connect us for social activities, support and camaraderie as we navigate the sunset years of our moms’ lives. My vision is to gather socially with our moms, perhaps for coffee dates or lunch, where we can all share our stories, struggles and even our resources. Maybe you know a fabulous physical therapist or a great respite caregiver! Maybe your mom would love to meet another lady experiencing what she is and needs a friend! Other ideas are attending musical performances, the theatre, maybe even a book club! Of course, socializing without our moms might be fun, too! I’ve met so many “good daughters” here in SWFL and I just know they need and want some friendship and support. Let’s meet up!!
