Downtown Denver holiday lights

This will be a full evening since drone light shows have been added. They happen every evening at 7:00 PM. I don't know that we can get photos of them - possibly video - but they will be fun to watch and free.

The Christkindlmarket will also be open. We missed it last year since we went the last week of Dec.

Kindly keep your RSVP current, so we know when everyone has arrived. I will send my phone number to those who signed up to go.

Let's go downtown and photograph the holiday light displays. The Mile High Tree, and the City / County Courthouse are two of the big attractions. Union Station also has a large tree and other decorations.

We will meet in the lobby Sheraton Denver Downtown hotel at 15th and Tremont Pl, 1550 Court Place.

From there we will go to Civic Center Park to see the Mile High Tree and the City/County Courthouse.

Next we will take the free shuttle to Union Station. They have a large tree inside and there are lots of photo ops around that area.

Be sure to dress warm! Foot and hand warmers are a big plus!

If the group wants to enjoy a meal or snack and a beverage after we are through photographing, there are several restaurants close to Union station,

Parking: There are several options close, including a parking garage under the Sheraton. The entrance is on 15th street. Additionally there's a parking garage across Tremont Place. Other surface lots not too far away. Please allow ample time to find a parking place. (DO NOT park at a 2 hour street meter and hope for the best. The best will not happen. That is the voice of experience.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are restrooms at the Sheraton and Union Station, other opportunities are a bit more challenging.
