Welcome to our Wednesday sessions in Elephant & Castle Area

SESSION FEE IS £12 PER PLAYER

Player must pay for their session space 5 days or sooner before the session to secure their space

All players attending must pay in advance for the session from Aug 2018 onwards.

This will be standard method as it will save us and players time.

The Castle Centre is near the roundabout area near Newington Butt A3 road. the address is 2 St Gabriel Walk, London, SE1 6FG

Once inside the Centre let the receptionist that you are attending badminton with SW Strings Badminton Club

Walk through the barriers and towards the flight of stairs and lifts area.

Up the stairs on the 1st floor is the main changing/shower rooms etc.

After changing the mains sports hall is on the 2nd floor. This is the waiting room/locker room. It also has toilets and a water fountain.

We play for two hours on 4 courts in this new sports hall @ The Brand NEW Castle Centre in Elephant & Castle

Buses: The buses that come to Elephant & Castle are 1, C10, 12, 35, 40, 45, 53, 63, 68,133, 148, 155, 168, 171, 176, 188, 196, 333, 343, 355, 363, 453, 468

Tube: Elephant and Castle Tube Stn: Barkerloo Line /Northern Line

Rail: Elephant & Castle tube station and mainline & overground station are less than 5 minutes walk away.

We play with feather shuttlecocks with 4 courts.

Please pay session fees preferably near the start.

Please Note:

Please ensure that you stretch and warm up before and after sessions to prevent injury.The South West Strings Badminton Club will not be liable for any injury at any time.

RSVP Policy:

Late Cancellation :Any member cancelling within 12 hrs before the session = £12 Penalty

Our cancellation period is the lowest in meetup community we don't expect player to give 24hrs notice as this is unrealistic so with this in-mind we have a 12hrs cancellation period before any session. anyone cancelling after this time will be charged at session fee / rate on whether your space /spot was taken up by someone else.
