What we’re about
Welcome, board and card game players! Each of our events will focus on a key game announced in advance. We’ll be selecting games that typically run 2+ hours and that are sometimes difficult to roll out during open-play game events.
Casual, conversational atmosphere. Our focus will be on spending a few leisurely, unhurried hours with an involved game. Everyone is welcome, LGBTQ+ friendly.
Attendance will be limited based on the selected game. For this reason, accurate RSVPs are critical. A no-show without an explanation or recurring last-minute cancellations will result in removal from the group.
All skill levels are very welcome, and for some of these games, the hosts will be beginners also. However, please note: because we are announcing each game in advance, attendees should arrive with a rudimentary knowledge of the game. Mastery of the rules is not expected, just please browse the rules or watch a how-to video so the key concepts are somewhat familiar. At each event we will present a rules overview as a refresher of the basic rules, and if needed we’ll work together to master the more advanced rules.
