DOG Wander in Forest Park

Let's amble for ~3 miles along the pedestrian paths in the center of Forest Park in St. Louis.

We will park near the visitors center (park on road or nearby parking lot) and meet up out front of the visitors center (bathrooms available). We will head out south at 10 AM pm sharp along the path towards the boat house and the lake. We will then walk up the hill to the World's Fair Pavilion and then back down to the lake to walk west towards Art Hill and the statue of St. Louis. We will then end winding our way near the suspension bridge and back on the gravel path near the boat house once again.

Easy walk at a slow pace with some mild ups and down on a gravel path. On trails (no bush whacking) so regular shoes or hiking boots are fine. Might be a bit muddy if after rain/snow. We will stop whenever necessary for the dogs or to look at the scenery. Don't be in a hurry, just enjoy the day. If you're a power hiker, this amble is not for you.

BRING WATER FOR YOUR DOG & YOURSELF if you like. Bathrooms are available at the visitors center at the beginning/end of hike.
ON LEASH REQUIRED. SHORT LEASH, as always. No retractables.
NO GUEST DOGS. Our events are for member dogs only.

Human guest are welcome, but you're encouraged to just come and socialize with other group members. If your human friends want to bring their dogs, they need to be members of our group.
