What we’re about
We have an amazing Bluegrass Community in Takoma Park thanks to the wonderful teachers at The School of Musical Traditions!
Local roots musicians Ira Gitlin, Mary Naden, Mari Carlson, Justin Heath, Nick Cameron, Gabby Cameron, and Sophie Chang host 3 Bluegrass jams every month.
Located at 7112 Willow Avenue, the school is an off shoot of the famous music store House of Musical Traditions located just down the street. Join us to play in a supportive, laid back environment!
