Let’s get on those hiking shoes and have a walk through the forest and stop at a geocache or three along the way. We may even find a hidden spring! If you’ve never been geocaching, it’s like a scavenger hunt. We will find caches that others have hidden and uploaded the coordinates and clues. They may be small, like a log and pencil to sign and say hello, or they may be bigger like a box of trinkets. In some cases you may remove and replace items. The website includes more locations than the app, but if you check out geocaching.com you’ll get an idea of what it is.

Bring comfortable clothes, snacks, and plenty of water. Check the weather to see if it will be cold or hot. You never know! Start and end time is flexible. If you want to join us later, I can tell you how to find us (keep the Meetup number handy) You may head back at any time or stay longer.

I will never push anyone to go farther than they want, and it’s no wo/man left behind. Bring a camera in case you see some wildlife or just something cool to shoot.
