What we’re about
Artificial Intelligence is having a “moment” right now, and Tampa Bay Artificial Intelligence Meetup’s goal is to prepare Tampa Bay’s tech and tech-adjacent professionals for this moment.
Our primary goal is to learn about the practical use and development of AI applications — that’s right, we’ll spend a lot of time getting our hands dirty either using AI tools or coding AI applications! Many of our sessions will be “do it along with the presenter” exercises, where we’ll work as a group learning how to use or implement something AI-related.
We’ll also have sessions where we’ll learn about AI in all its forms, discuss its promises and pitfalls, and share ideas, but these sessions will stay focused on how you can put this knowledge to practical use.
This meetup is open to everyone interested in artificial intelligence and related fields (including data science, machine learning, robotics, sensors, IoT). If you want to learn about AI and put it to good use or build your own AI-based applications, this meetup is for you!

Another year has come to an end, and it’s been one with excitement, growth and challenges for Tampa Bay’s tech scene. We’re celebrating by gathering Tampa Bay’s tech meetups all in one place — Embarc Collective — and celebrating at the 4th Annual End Of Year Tech Meetup!
Join us, along with our fellow local Meetup groups from across Tampa Bay and celebrate the year’s achievements, connect with fellow tech enthusiasts, and support our community.
This will be an in-person event, and it’s hosted by those pillars of the tech community, Computer Coach and High Tech Connect!
There will be plenty of raffle prizes to win! You can enter the raffle by bringing an unwrapped gift or gift card (valued at $10 or more) for donation, or purchase a raffle ticket at the door.
All gifts and funds raised will go to Joshua’s House. Last year, we raised over $1000, and this year, we’re aiming even higher! Help us make an even greater impact by reaching our new goal and supporting children in need across our community. Below is a list of items we're asking for this year.
