We are a non-profit makerspace. We offer classes and events on all sorts of making. Most are open to everyone. You can join as a member and have 24/7 access to our workshop and tools.

Some of the projects our members work on: aquaponics, FIRST robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Internet of Things (IoT), electronics, ham / amateur radio, wearable electronics, home automation, microcontrollers, quadcopters, drones, 3D printing, art, etc. We are working on offering a wide range of classes from Minecraft to sewing to LED lighting to Linux to lockpicking to movie making and photography to ceramics / pottery. Whether your interest is technology like hardware or electronic devices, software, or artistic like art, design, film, or music, we're here to help you with your projects.
Our workshop currently has 3D printers, a laser cutter / engraver, CNC wood routers, welding, sewing machines, embroidery machine, vinyl cutters, a heat press, kilns, electronics tools like soldering stations, oscilloscopes, metal / machine tools including a CNC mill, vertical mill and lathes, and a full woodshop with table saw, bandsaw, crosscut / miter saw, planer, jointer, router table, lathes, sanders, hand tools, etc.
We are located just south of Tampa Airport and are reasonably close to all of Tampa Bay - Pinellas County / Clearwater / Largo / St. Petersburg, Pasco, or Hillsborough / Tampa.

PLEASE NOTE: When you first respond to this meetup, you will be wait-listed. As memberships are verified and payments are received, we will move you to the Yes list until the class is at capacity. Priority is given by payment time, not RSVP time. Note that after you pay, you will not be moved to the Yes list immediately -- this is a manual process requiring human verification from a volunteer.
This class covers basic safety and usage of our Everlast welder for MIG-welding steel. It is required for sign off to use our welder.

SAFETY: Everyone must wear closed toed shoes and long sleeve shirt & pants for protection. Sparks may damage. Cotton is best, nylon can melt and stick to skin.
