Continuous Delivery extends the spirit of agility, from development to production, in order to keep pace with the fast changing business demands. In order to succeed in that spirit to keep up with change, we need to bring in several sustainable practices. Without proper discipline and rigor the efforts for continuous deliver can soon turn into a nightmare for teams and organizations that rely on them. In this presentation we will discuss a dozen practices, why we need to focus on each one of them, and how they impact the ability to keep pace with continuous delivery.Dr. Venkat Subramaniam is an award-winning author, founder of Agile Developer, Inc., an instructional professor at the University of Houston, and the creator of the dev2next conference.
He has trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is a regularly-invited speaker at several international conferences. Venkat helps his clients effectively apply and succeed with sustainable agile practices on their software projects.
Venkat is a (co)author of multiple technical books, including the 2007 Jolt Productivity award winning book Practices of an Agile Developer. Phew, what a year we’ve had! From major tech advancements to devastating hurricanes—and an outpouring of love and support from our Tampa Bay communities—it’s been an exciting yet incredibly challenging year for so many. We don’t know about you, but we’re ready to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome a fresh start in 2025!
Join us for the 4th Annual End of Year Tech Meetup, where local Meetup groups from across Tampa Bay will gather to celebrate the year’s achievements, connect with fellow tech enthusiasts, and support our community.
This in-person event, hosted by Computer Coach and High Tech Connect, will be held at Embarc Collective.
