Tamworth & Lichfield Board Games - Thu 28th Nov - Games Club in Tamworth

This weekly meetup is for anyone who wants to play games.

We play board games, card games, tile and dice games - in fact we play pretty much anything !!

The games are strategic but fun, a few examples being Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne, Catan, Love Letter, and Codenames.

New players are always welcome.

If you cannot make the start time then just roll up when you can as we play a few games each evening - it's great fun learning a new game :)

Nearest parking based on Meetup venue :-

For sessions in Tamworth at Games Club in King Street, the nearest car parks are Holloway at B79 7NB or Aldergate at B79 7DD (both free after 6pm) - King Street is the alley next to Wilkos that connects Market Street & Church Street - first attendance is free thereafter there's a £2 per person per session charge that goes towards the building lease cost.

For sessions in Lichfield at the Duke Of York there's a big free car park at the back of the pub but it's a little awkward to get to for the first time. There's a very short service road directly in front of the pub (usually with cars parked there) but it can only be accessed by approaching from the town end of the main road. Off that pub service road is what looks a bit like an alley way but it's wide enough to drive down, and at the end of that is the pub car park. The alley way has a 'Private Road' sign about 30 yards in but it is totally safe to ignore that.
