Dear Friends how are you?

Dr. Che suggests we restart the Dao De Jing Study group. We are
planning to have the first study meeting (online) starting March 27,
7:00pm-8:30pm Pacific Time.
Dao De Jing is a well-known philosophical masterpiece written by
Laozi more than 2500 years ago. Since then the Chinese started
interpret it in their own ways. Countless books have been written
about Dao De Jing in China, It is believed that Dao De Jing was
introduced to the western readers during the 17th century due to the
missionaries' going to China. The Chinese word of Dao is widely
accepted and used in daily life. What is Dao? Do we need it? If yes,
how do we practice it? If we don't need it at all, why has the Dao
been such a weight in our life since its birth 2500 years ago?
We would appreciate hearing about your interest in the Dao Da Jing.
• Have you read the Dao De Jing before? If yes
• Why did you read it
• What is your impression about the Dao De Jing?
If you have not read the Dao De Jing and would like to learn in a
group setting pleas join us.
We look forward to hearing from you! Please respond to the following
email address [email protected]. An email will be set to you with
a Zoom meeting ID and Password.
