What we’re about
The goal is to build an online community that will graduate to gather in person.
I began this group as a commitment to my own self-discovery. Through learning the technology of Tarot, I realized that the cards were far more helpful to me when used as a tool to discover myself as opposed to a divination oracle (predicting the future and asking for help to see the truth of things). It's not that predictions aren't fun, helpful, or provide comfort. Instead, I realized my occupation with what I hoped would happen was distracting me from a more profound, more meaningful truth. Who am I? What am I meant to learn about myself in the current circumstance? What are my options in my becoming?
We are always becoming something. Sometimes, we are blessed enough to participate in that process. Other times, it happens to us. The cards (The Major Arcana, in particular) can help us figure out our role in the becoming. This is a space that is more for learning and exploration than it is for dogma. It is designed by me (a facilitator) with that in mind. Conversation and reflection are the vehicle for how we engage. I am excited to share that with you.
